In order to be awarded Purchase Orders at or above US $10,000.00, Contractors are required to get a DUNS number. A DUNS number is a unique 9-digit identifier issued and maintained by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) that verifies the existence of a business entity globally. D&B assigns DUNS numbers for each physical location of a business. All government contractors globally can receive a DUNS number at no charge and, under normal circumstances, within 24-72 hours when using the D&B web form process (http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform) or by calling D&B in the United States at +1-866-785-0428.
In order to be awarded contracts at or above US$30,000.00, Contractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM). Please note that in order to register in SAM you need to first obtain a DUNS number and a NATO CAGE Code. 191T5221R0001 – Milan Residential Make Ready Services – December 21, 2020. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Consulate General in Milan will have it ready for distribution as soon as it is available. The solicitation covers scheduled and unscheduled make-ready, maintenance, and repair services at U.S. Consulate General Milan leased residential housing units. The Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract. Anticipated performance is for one base period and three one-year periods at the option of the U.S. Government. Total estimated number of properties to be serviced per year: fifty (50). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be specified in the solicitation. Please note that in order to be eligible for a US Government award SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. Only paper quotation packages will be accepted; instructions will be specified in the solicitation text.

PR9254491 – The U.S. Consulate in Naples has a requirement to purchase 1EA 5PAX fully electric vehicle with EUROPEAN SPECIFICATIONS. It should be a multi-space vehicle such as (these are only examples) the Fiat Doblo’, Citroen Berlingo, Ford Tourneo Connect, Hyundai Kona or Dacia Dokker. It is essential that spare parts for the vehicle can be found locally and that maintenance and regular tune-ups can also be carried out at local maintenance/repair shops. With the batteries being fully charged, the vehicle must be able to run for at least 300 km. It should have the “full optional” package, including A/C, electric windows, hill control etc. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.
