Sam Registration

The System for Award Management (SAM) is the official site for registering to do business with the federal government.

Any contractor or entity who wishes to do business with the federal government must be registered in the SAM Database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an OFFER pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7 for any type of contract valued at or above $30,000. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to submitting quotations/proposals.

Registration on this site is FREE.

A NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) Code is required to register in SAM. Instructions for how to obtain the NCAGE code are available at Request New NCAGE code (nato.int). It may take up to 3 business days to obtain the NCAGE code.

Once registered in the SAM database, a new unique entity identifier number (UEI) will be issued. This will streamline the entity identification and validation process for the government.

191T7023Q0031 – Electrical Material – Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States of America in Rome has a requirement to purchase a wide range of electrical materials.

The estimated quantity shall cover approximately 60 residential apartments within the city of Rome, Italy. The anticipated performance period is for 8 months. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) based on the initial offer without discussion.

191T7023Q0018 – Italian Language Lessons in Rome, Italy – Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available.
The solicitation covers the Italian Language lessons for the American Officers at the U.S. Tri-Mission in Rome, Italy.
The Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract.
This service is to be provided for approximately 100 students.
The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

The U.S. Consulate General Milan, Italy has a requirement for the supply of cooking services for the Marines (MSG) on the MSG ’s residential headquarters in Milan. 191T75522Q0006 – Restrooms Refurbishing in the Basement Area – July 21, 2022 – The U.S. Consulate General in Naples, Italy has a requirement to refurbish restrooms in the basement in the U.S. Consulate General in Naples. This project is estimated at between $50,000 and $75,000. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. We will be organizing a site survey in the month of August.
