May 4-5, 2017

Clemantine Wamariya, an American social entrepreneur and human rights advocate who is committed to cultivating leaders and innovators through the power of storytelling, spoke in a series of programs in Rome on May 4th and 5th.

She gave presentations to youth, migrants, and NGO representatives, drawing on her personal stories of her childhood in Rwanda and in war-torn countries and refugee camps at a variety of venues: Leonardo Da Vinci High School, LUMSA University (in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross), Croce High School (in collaboration with Save the Children), and at the landmark Teatro Argentina (Argentine Theater).

Clemantine was also interviewed by RAI News 24 and UndeRadio, a youth radio station.   Several media agencies covered the events, which were also amplified through social media channels.
