Consul General Abigail M. Rupp traveled to Reggio Emilia to meet with City Councilwoman for International Relations Serena Foracchia, Vice Prefect Alessandra De Notaristefani Di Vastogirardi, Questore Isabella Fusiello and Chamber of Commerce President Stefano Landi.
Following the meetings, she spoke at a seminar, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, entitled, “Le opportunità commerciali tra Italia e Usa. Incontro con il Console Generale Americano a Firenze e approfondimento sul paese.”
Later in the day, Consul General Rupp visited the Collezione Maramotti, a rich collection of contemporary art founded by Achille Maramotti (who also founded Max Mara), with its director, Marina Dacci. She also visited the Centro Islamico An-Nur (“la luce”) and met with Imam Yussef el Samahy and community representatives Az din Haddad, Abdelhakim Bouchraa, and Sabrina el Moukane.
