Consul General Benjamin Wohlauer remembered September 11, 2001 by lowering the American Flag of the consulate on the Arno and taking part in the commemoration ceremony in Modena. The Monument in Modena contains two beams of the world trade center in New York. Since the consulate was established in 1819, at 2001, we are always grateful for the friendship and support of the Italian people.
