Location 2: Rome, Piazza Campo de’ Fiori
Event: On Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, a demonstration of approximately 100 participants sponsored by “Mascherine Tricolori” is scheduled to take place protesting COVID-19-related restrictions implemented by the Italian government.
Location 3: Rome, Piazza dell’Indipendenza
Event: On Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, a demonstration of approximately 500 participants is scheduled to take place protesting the Italian government’s economic policies. Demonstrators are directing their protest towards the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Via XX Settembre). Police indicate that there is a potential for violence associated with this event and will be monitoring the situation.
