Founded and directed by American violinist Robert McDuffie, the Rome Chamber Music Festival is one of Rome’s most anticipated cultural events. The festival celebrates its fourteenth season in 2017 with a spectacular new program that includes classical and contemporary chamber music masterpieces, from baroque to bluegrass, played by internationally known artists and rising stars selected through the De Simone Young Artist Program. The festival also features master classes and open rehearsals during the day. Evening concerts take place June 4 through June 8 (concert on June 4 will be an invitation-only event).
