Virtual Workshop on Innovative Production Technologies

On June 8-9, 2021, the United States Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service at the U.S. Embassy in Rome hosted a regional virtual workshop focused on innovative production technologies.  Two U.S. expert scientists were accompanied by experts from Italy, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia.  The scientists agreed that new production technologies are the keys to producing food sustainably and affordably.  The new technologies will make available healthier, safer, and more nutritious food.
